Gabrielle Bradshaw


Gabrielle trained at Camberwell School of Art leaving with a First Class honours degree in Fine Art Sculpture. Since then she has had a hugely varied career working as a welder, blacksmith, presenter, set designer, layout artist, prop maker, artistic consultant, designer and sculptor.
She presented the popular BBC1 Art show Hartbeat alongside Tony Hart for five series and has gone on to present programmes across all channels.
Gabrielle has exhibited her sculptures and drawings with the London Group at the Royal Academy, at the South London Gallery (where she won the SOGAT award) The Barbican Arts Centre, The Dulwich Picture Gallery, The Landmark Arts Centre, The Gallery W1, The Garage Gallery London, 12 Miles West in Worthing, Oriel Makers in Cardiff and Framework in Creekside. Her work has also been exhibited and auctioned at Sotheby's.   
   Gabrielle's sculptures are made from forged and welded metal. She learnt her blacksmithing skills at the Rural Development Centre in Salisbury  and honed her welding technique in the metal shop of the Royal National Theatre.
Gabrielle now has her own forge set up in South London and regularly exhibits her sculptures and drawings.
